Girls night out

Mommy is going out to dinner tonight and to a movie with a bunch of her lady friends so of course she did exactly what mom does.  She invited the Bahmer Bro's over to the house for a sleepover so dad would have to watch them!

When he got home from work mom took off like the house was on fire and dad took us to the pool which I think he would tell you was a mistake (notice the sign):




Then the big dummy decided to take us all out for dinner which I'm POSITIVE he would tell you was a huge mistake:








After dinner we went home and played so Wiiu for a bit and then it was off to bed.




It was weird, but the next morning we ate at home instead of going out somewhere....I wonder why?



Then of course because of the sweetness of this picture, he forgot what we put him through and agreed to a second sleepover that night!!

WRESTLEMANIA

Well, after that vacation, I guess the summer is just going to wind down and be boring the rest of the way.  I know mom and dad try to make it fun, but going to the pool and stuff doesn't really compare to Disney world and a cruise.

What's that dad?  We are going to WRESTLEMANIA TONIGHT?!! (ed: note.  Dylan calls it wrestlemania whenever we go to the local live show.  It was actually the summerslam live show).  That will make 4 years in a row.  I thought dad forgot this year!  We always have the best time, this is going to be great.

I got to see a bunch of my favorite wrestlers.  I was able to give Kofi Kingston a high five, Sin Cara made a surprise appearence, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, the Wyatt Family and Sheamus were all there too.  It was a really fun night.

After the shock wore off I realized that I have 3 days of cruising ahead of me!  We are going to take full advantage of it.  We were the 4th people to get on the boat.  We went right to the pool and rode the water slide a bunch of times and then went swimming.  They had an ice cream place where I could get ALL OF THE ICE CREAM I WANTED!  It was a fun awesome 3 days.

The rest of Disney

The rest of the trip was really fun and we did all of the Disney stuff we could cram in.  We made it to all 4 parks as well as one of the water parks and back to Disney Springs.  I got to ride all of my favorite rides a bunch of times and even see the "Spectro magic parade" where the cars are all lit up.  Mom and dad even slipped in some putt putt golf.  It was a really fun trip and I'm super sad that it is over..

I know that I will be back in two short weeks for our yearly visit with Christian and Maria but I'm always still sad when we leave.  I don't let mom and dad know that though because I don't want them to feel bad.

Wilderness Lodge

We got all checked into the hotel with no problems and our room was right by the bus stop so we will have easy access in and out.  I mentioned earlier that we went to Disney springs.  One of the things I bought when I was there was a bow and arrow set and I am getting pretty good at it.

Cousins

We had a lot of fun at the campground...we rode around in the golf cart and played Pokemon Go and also went to Disney springs to eat and do some shopping.  I also went to the buffet one night for dinner and learned that I LOVE SHRIMP.  Who knew?

Anyway, we are heading to go visit my cousin's Kendall and Natalie today.  I have never been to their house and dad said they live somewhere near Orlando so we are heading there this morning.  I hope I have fun with them because they are younger and girls....not exactly a recipe for fun for an 8 year old boy.

It turns out that my cousin's are a blast!!  We played hide and go seek and picked on dad for most of the time before we headed to lunch for pizza.  I tell you what, little kids are EXHAUSTING!  Kendall never let me stop playing hide and go seek.  Now I know what mom and dad are always complaining about.  I can't wait to go back and visit them again some time.  Back to Disney we go...

Vacation

By some sort of miracle I pulled out of my sickness on the same day that we were supposed to leave for our week at Disney world.  I know exactly what will make me feel better:

Well, we made it to Disney and checked into the Wilderness campground.  I like this hotel because we get a golf cart.  Actually, that's not true.  The first night we stayed in a different hotel because we didn't have reservations at the campground until tomorrow.  But that is no big deal because it was a really nice hotel.

Then we got checked into the room.  We are spending a couple of days here before we head over to the wilderness lodge for the last couple of days of our trip.  I can't wait, this sure beats being sick for a week!!

Not so fast

Sadly, that wasn't the end of my sickness after one day.  It lasted almost 7 full days and I felt like crap the whole time.  My fever stayed up way above 103 degrees almost the whole time.  We went to the Dr's office a couple of times because I just wasn't getting better.

I tried all sorts of medicine's but nothing was working.  This bug was really going to just have to take it's course in order the get better. The worst part is that mommy is on Sabbatical starting next week and we have our big vacation scheduled!  I hope we don't have to cancel...

2 day sleep over

So today was the day of the sleep over and things didn't go exactly as planned.  It all started off great.  Dad picked Luke and I up from his house after skating.  We just went back to the house and played minecraft for a bit before bed.  Luke and I slept on the couch and the cats woke us up bright and early the next morning.  We didn't want any breakfast so we just played for a little in the morning.

In the afternoon, dad took us to lunch and then to the movies.  We saw "the secret life of pets" and it was really funny.  Dad fell asleep and missed out.  After the movie we went to Sky Zone and played dodgeball for an hour and a half.  Things were just awesome and we still had the whole night ahead of us.

Then something went wrong.  All of the sudden I didn't feel good.  I told dad that I think we needed to take Luke home because I was going to be sick.  We quickly took Luke home and I wasn't doing so good.

That night, I barfed pretty hard but then felt a little better.  We picked mommy up from the airport but I still didn't feel any better.  My temperature got up to 103!!  Mom and dad took really good care of me and waited on me hand and foot.  I know it was tough because my taste buds were off and normal food that I loved just didn't taste good to me.  Dad went to the store 4 times to try and get stuff I would like. 

I had a decent night sleep but woke up at 5 AM this morning and felt yucky again.  I threw up again and then took my medicine.  Dad took me to the couch and we watched some cartoons.  I sipped some fluids and started to feel much better.

Roller Skating fun

The Bahmer's took me roller skating this afternoon and it was a lot of fun.  I got some blisters but had a blast!  The best part was that Luke is coming over after for a sleep over for two nights!!

Mom is out of town this weekend for a wedding and dad said that he has lots of fun stuff planned for us for the next two days.  I can't wait.

The other day was mommy's birthday and boy did we have a great weekend. She was born on the fourth of July so I needed to be ready.

We had a super huge party at Katie's house with like 50 of my friends.  We swam, played on the slip and slide and even played in the rain.  It lasted for several hours and was just the most fun ever.

Not to be outdone, mom and dad surprised me with something after lunch!  A trip to Toys R us!

When we finally got done with all of our morning fun, we made our way over to Summerbrooke to watch fireworks.  We had a Chik-fil-a picnic on the golf course and then headed over to some friends house to play.  Of course Katie was there so we all played at the pool.

When it was getting dark we headed over to watch the fireworks and they were AWESOME!

When we got home, Daddy had one more trick up his sleeve.....A cake for mommy!!

It was the best weekend ever for the best lady ever!!  Happy birthday mommy, I love you!!
