Just posting some pictures from today....pretty standard day, the weather wasn't good so we stayed indoors all day.

ok, those were the pictures from today.  Dad is staying home from work tomorrow so that makes 5 days in a row that the three of us have gotten to hang out.....a guy could get used to this!

Puttin up the tree!!

Today's the big day, putting up my first Christmas tree!!  We got up early and headed off to Publix to get some stuff for breakfast!

Then we went to G-ma's so she could cook us that breakfast!

I played with daddy while I waited....look how fast my hands move!

I drank all my juice because I know I have a big day ahead of me.

mommy and daddy found a tree and brought me over to see if I approved.

I did approve so I posed for a picture with it.

Then for one with a wreath

This is how we got the tree home....it's a miracle we didn't kill anyone.

Her she is standing tall (if you'll notice a little too tall for our roof....mommy told daddy it was too big...he didn't listen)

Then we cut it free and it opened up like this!

Next was a set of lights

Then the final touches....this is the "big satin lights", followed by some ornaments

Then we put the topper on (which just barely fit....daddy said he was going to MAKE IT FIT!)

and some candy canes!!

Our tree looks fantastic it it was so much fun putting it up.  I can't wait to see what other cool stuff I get to do for Christmas.

Black Friday 2008

What a day!!  After my exciting first Thanksgiving today I got to experience my first Black Friday.  Mommy thought it would be a great idea to get up early and go to the busiest mall in the whole world the Sawgrass Mills Mall.  So at 7:30 she couldn't wait any longer and we busted in to daddy's room to wake him up (he was not amused).  We got dressed and off we went to the mall.

The stores were so packed that my stroller couldn't get in there so dad and I waited outside while mom went in shopping.  This is me standing up in my stroller.

Daddy and I hung out and were people watching.....there are all kinds of strange people out on Black Friday.  All and all we hit the following stores in the mall:  Carter's, oshkosh, KB toys, Gap, Baby Gap, Polo, Baby Polo and Baby Depot at burlington coat factory.  I was exhausted but at least we were done for the day.....or so I thought!!

In the car Dad gave me a bottle to keep my strength up....apparently he knew we were going to more places but didn't tell me.

We stopped off and had some lunch (mom and dad need strength too!)

We all went home and took a 2 hour nap.

Next we hit BJ's and then Toys "R" us and finally Target!

We left Target and went to get dinner....I had waffles because daddy said I can get breakfast whenever I want...this was me trying to use a straw.

I ate a whole waffle, then went home and had 2 jars of baby food and an 8oz bottle of rice formula......man was I hungry!

Then it was off to the tub to play

Currently I am screaming myself to sleep in my crib (I can still post, we have WiFi!!  

Daddy said we are getting a Christmas tree tomorrow.  I'm not sure I understand this whole Christmas thing, everything is backwards.  We put lights OUTSIDE, trees INSIDE, they purposely sit me on a strangers lap, and they hung our socks from the mantle.....it all seems weird but I was promised gifts so I'm gonna play along!!

Thanksgiving 2008

What a day!!  I woke up first thing this morning and played with mom and dad.

I got to the table nice and early because the house smelled so great from all of mommy delicious cooking!

                                        

I put on my special outfit....I got a little angry because I WAS READY EAT!!!  I had to sit around all day smelling and drooling.  FEED ME!!

I fell asleep at the table and missed the whole darn thing!!!  Can you believe it?

Here is what happened:

I was so upset, after a whole day of waiting I miss it.  Oh well, mommy said that there are plenty of left overs for me to eat tomorrow.  I'm off to bed.  Happy Turkey day to all!!!

My super fun weekend!!!

This has already been one of the best weekends ever and it's not even over yet!!  Here's what happened.  Dad stayed home from work on Friday to hang out and play.  Because he had Friday off, him and mom decided to have a "date night" on Thursday.  Normally when they go out I go to grandma and grandpa's but to my surprise there was a knock on the door and Miss Ashley was there!!!  I love Miss Ashley and was so excited to get some extra time with her this week.  I wanted her to come over and babysit more often so I didn't throw my usual night time temper tantrums.  I ate my food, took my bath, and went right to bed!!

I woke up bright and early (at 5 AM) and got to drink my bottle and watch TV in Mom and Dad's bed, which is way more comfortable than my bed (see picture below).  Mom and Dad got new Iphones from grandma and grandpa for Christmas so they were two happy campers.  These things are great, they are like portable babysitters for mom and dad, so I don't have to worry about them getting into any trouble.  Anyway, we hung out for the day and then they said we were going to the Broward County Fair!  I asked them if the Broward County Great was in town this weekend (because if I have a choice between something that is fair or something that is great, I'm going to go with great).  Anyway, we head off t the fair and this is what I saw!

I got to feed a bunny rabbit...they weren't scared of my like my cats at home are...I don't know why, I'm a nice guy!

I got to see a goat....daddy wouldn't let me touch him and I can see why, he smelled dis-gus-ting.

Then I got to ride on daddy's shoulders for a while...I was sooooo tall!!!

Anyway, we left that fair after having a "great"time.  I can't wait to go back next year!

So I woke up Saturday morning at 5:30 AM and daddy was too tired to get up with me.  So mommy got up and we played and then went to Target.  It was so early we got there before it opened so we hung out in the car and listened to Christmas music.  She told me that we were going to decorate the house like we did for Halloween.  I asked if I could be head director again and she said sure.

I insisted that all great directors have a chair so I need one.  So mom and dad put my swing up outside!!!

I bounced around for almost an hour laughing and playing the whole time (I must admit, I wasn't much help directing)

Anyway, for the next seven hours mom and dad put up lights.  I played, took a nap, rode with mommy to the store to get more lights...even went over to g-ma and g-pas for a while.  Finally, they finished and showed me.  It was well worth the wait.  Check out this video I shot below (turn up the volume because the lights are synced with music)

How fantastic is that!!

Ok, today is Sunday and mom and dad said I am going to go and meet some dude named Santa  Talk to you soon!
