Today was an unusual Friday. Mommy had to go to work in the morning, so instead of staying home with me she dropped me off at Grandma Shirls house. But it wasn't for very long and she was home before I knew it. We had lunch at Grandma Shirls house and then we drove home in the rain...it was POURING!!

I can home and took a nap for a bit and then daddy came home. We played for a while and even though I was really happy to see him, I was pretty cranky.

After play I fell asleep. I woke up and he gave me a bottle and then I took a bath with mommy. We put my Bumbo seat in the tub so that I could sit up and play without mommy worrying about dropping me!

I think it was an excellent solution don't you?

I practiced sitting up again, and did much better than last time. Then I played Peek-a-Boo with daddy! Watch:

I watched my baby tv for a little and then I got a special treat! Mommy bought me a "sassy teething feeder". It's this really cool ring with a mesh bag on it so I can eat all by myself! My gums were sore so mommy put some ice in it and I went to town!

It felt so good on my gums.

Then it was another bottle and off to bed for me. I can't wait to wake up bright and early and go on my weekend walk with daddy tomorrow! Hasta la vista, (from) baby!

Hi everyone. Sorry for the delay in posting. We were experiencing technical difficulties and I couldn't upload any pictures. Daddy took care of it and now we are up and running (temporarily).

The last two days have been pretty standard stuff. Spent the mornings with Miss Ashley, the afternoons with Grandma Shirl and the nights with mommy and daddy. Eating dinner, taking baths, playing on my mat etc. Tomorrow should be a pretty busy day for me and then hopefully this weekend I will have good stuff to post. I leave you with a couple of pictures from the last two days!

Sittin ain't easy

Mommy said she got to stay home today because "Fay was coming". She must have gotten stood up because no one came over today. But that is OK because that makes 5 days in a row with mommy and you can't beat that.

The weather was pretty bad today, it rained most of the day and sounded very windy outside...probably why that Fay lady never came by.

We woke up this morning and mommy fed me pears. A-pear-ently I really like them because I scarfed them down!! We go good together, we are quite a "pair". Ok, enough with the "corny" jokes (that's right, a vegetable joke after two fruit jokes!!) Orange you glad that was the last one? Awe "shucks" I'm so embarrassed by that last one, I just want to "berry" my head in my hands. "Lettuce" move on to a "fresh" subject because I "yam" tired of this one. Hopefully I can "produce" a topic that won't bore you. Ok, I've "peppered" you with enough of that, time to move on.

Mommy cleaned me off and I laid down for a nap. I slept in their bed like a big boy. That is one comfy bed! Check it out:

Mommy had to work from home today so she took me to Grandma Shirls for a bit. I played in my jeep and with my toys over there. Mommy came to get me a couple of hours later and I came home to nap again. This time I napped in my crib.

When I woke up daddy was home. I played with him for a while and then we had dinner. When we got home I watched my baby channel on TV for a while and then it was tub time! Daddy cleaned all of my bits and we played with my bath toys for a while. When I was good and pruny mommy dried me off and put me in my PJ's. We sat on the floor and played and then out of the blue I decided I was going to sit up!

Daddy thought it was a fluke...so I did it again...and this time I went down and all the way up all by myself....IN YOUR FACE POPS!!

Well all of this sitting up wore me out, I'm "beet" so I decided to call it a night, . I am going to make like a banana and split...oh man oh man 2 more food jokes, couldn't resist throwing those in there!!

Tropical Storm

Hello my people. Today was a busy day trying to get prepared for Tropical Storm Fay










...although I seem to think that the newscasters don't know what they are talking about...





but what do I know, I am just a baby. Mommy stayed home from work today and ran around trying to make sure we had enough bottled water to feed an entire country. Other than that, I had a pretty quiet day.



Well...i gotta go batten down the hatch.

Sunday August 17th 2008

I woke up this morning at 7 am. Mommy was still feeling tired so daddy took me out for a walk again! We have fun on our walks...chance to do a little male bonding...you know, spit, scratch ourselves etc.

After we got back daddy fed me some peas (my favorite!!)

I was obviously a mess so daddy gave me what he affectionatley called a "hooker bath", where he wiped me down with wipes and a towel.....seemed a lot easier than putting me in the tub!! (although, I'm pretty sure I still have some peas on me.)

After my bath we went to BJ's to get me more formula and diapers. We came home and daddy and I crawled into bed for a nap. All that male bonding can really tired a little guy out. We slept for 3 HOURS!!! Man I am getting good at this napping stuff.

When I woke up I tried to drink some juice out of my new sippy cup with mixed results.

I wasn't so sure if I liked the juice just yet. Maybe we'll try a different flavor tomorrow.

We went to Grandma Shirl and Grandpa Tan Man's for dinner. I played in my jumper for a long time because I can finally reach the ground!!

After I was done in my Jumper we went outside to feed the squirrels. The come right up to the door!!

I have to remember to ask my Dr. if a rabbies vaccine is included in my shots.

We ate dinner and I tried a bite of grits, pretty boring stuff.

After dinner they packed me up and brought me home.

When I got home I played a little game daddy liked to call "turd wrestling"

I fought, and grunted and pushed for almost an hour before I finally pushed that bad boy out. After that I clearly needed a bath. Daddy said only one hooker bath a day so he put me in the tub.

After my bath I helped him fold my laundry and then mommy fed and rocked me until I fell asleep!

The busiest Saturday EVER!

I woke up at 6 AM this morning and was ready to get this day going. Mommy and daddy tried to put me back to sleep but I would have none of it. Daddy got out of bed and took me to pick up some breakfast. We got home and mommy was still sleeping. Daddy and I went for a walk. He's the driver, I'm the navigator.

We have a series of hand signals so I can tell him which way to go:

This means go left!

This means stop.

I think you get the point. I guided daddy back to the house and I ate a bottle and mommy STILL wasn't awake yet (daddy kept calling her lazy bones!)

Mommy finally woke up and played with me for a bit, then she fed me some apples out of a jar and gave me a bath!

After all the driving in the car, walking and playing I was zonked so I laid down for a nap in Mommy and Daddy's bed.

When I woke up I was in the car going to my unborn friend Jax's house. First we stopped by:

We were stopping by there to pick me up a sippy cup, but in true Mommy fashion unded up spending $200 on all sorts of other cute stuff for me: Check out the stuff I got!

I got a new hat!

I got my first FSU Jersery!!!

And my first FSU track suit!!!! (I'm even doing the chop in the last picture!!)

This isn't everything I bought, but I am saving the other items for another day.

After daddy threatened to cut up the check card, we headed to Jax's house. We went to lunch with his parents (he was there too I guess!).

I sat on the table like a big boy and the waitress said I was "such a cutie". Then I threw mommy's coke directly onto her lap. Oddly enough no one really got mad at me and they kinda laughed, need to make a mental note of that.

After lunch we went back to Jax's house and I got to be a baby model!! We put together all of Jax's toys and I got to test out all of his toys to see if I liked them. It was awesome. I put my own stamp of approval on his toys.

Daddy and Jax's dad Scott put together the toys. They were so proud of themselves like they were Bob the builder or something.

While they were building I looked over at my dad and said "Daddy!" Everyone's jaw dropped as they couldn't believe it. It looked like dad had something in his eye or something because his eyes were all watery.

After all that I came home and took a nap.

Mommy and Daddy ordered Chinese food while we watched the Dolphins Preseason game and Olympics then went to bed!

Today was a good day. Mommy stayed home because it was Friday. We woke up this morning and went to Stroller Strides.

Then we went with Grandma Shirl and Grandpa Tan Man to Costco. After that I took a long nap but heard that daddy came home from work early. He helped Grandpa hook up his new TV's.He was so proud of himself, he walked around like he just cured cancer. I don't know what the big deal is, put the colored wire in the colored hole....doesn't exactly seem like rocket science to me.

Anyways, they woke me up and took me home. Daddy mowed the lawn while I played with Mom. I got really tired and went down for a short nap. I woke up and played with mommy again. A few minutes later, she crawled into bed for a nap, and I thought it sounded like a good idea so I took ANOTHER nap.....am I just like my daddy or what?!! I'm probably so tired because I was up until midnight with mommy watching the Olympics.

We woke up and went to Ritter's for Ice Cream.

Daddy said I couldn't have any, but mommy snuck me a taste when he was in the bathroom. It was Yummy!! It tasted better than what I am used to eating!

Anyway, I fell asleep AGAIN in the car on the way home. It must be the full moon tonight that has made me so sleepy.

After that it was the usual. Bath, play, bottle, and back to bed (but something tells me I won't sleep too well tonight!
