Well, apparently this whole gambling thing is hereditary which means that I am in trouble! As you remember I "helped" mommy scratch the lottery tickets that I bought her for her birthday and turned $34 into $78! What followed was a interesting discussion. Daddy said "gimme back my $34! Mommy said "Cash them all in for more tickets!" I wonder which one I chose?
Yesterday was Mommy and America's birthday and although the fireworks got rained out which was really disappointing I still had fun. You see, one of Daddy's favorite things to do is to take me to Target when it is time to buy gifts for someone and see what sort of random stuff I pick out for them and the accompanying explanation as to why I got it for them. This year he was really disappointed because all of the stuff that I got mommy really needed/wants!
My list of gifts were the following:
1 pair of exercise gloves because she has been complaining that she needs new ones
2 candles (a 3 and a 4 for her cake)
3 packages of hair ties (mommy is always losing hers)
34 scratchy game thingies (lottery tickets)
Mommy was so excited when she opened the tickets that I decided to give them a try and it turns out that I'm really good at it! I won $78!!
I also made mommy a cake (ok, she made it, I decorated it).
look at that concentration
i've learned that excess is good!
All and all it was a fun day considering it was rainy and we were stuck inside all day! Happy Birthday Mommy, I Love You!!
We went bowling this weekend and I forgot just how much I love to do it. I had so much fun and beat mommy 2 out of 3 times. After three games, mom and dad were tired so they let me bowl by myself so I bowled another 2 and 1/2 games before I was ready to go home.
To put that into perspective, I was using a 6 lb bowling ball, which is 1/6th of my weight and I sprinted and threw it 56 times......that's a 1/4 of a mile throwing 336lbs!! If dad was to do the same thing, he would have to run .40 of a mile and throw 1960lbs!
My approach....look at that form!
Daddy always lets me choose my name
This one is not to point out that I whooped mom again but to point out the way I closed the game and to show my first strike!!
Mom insisted I post this one so she could save some face
This is me picking up the spare and doing "The Windmill" afterwards.
Editor's update: We went back to bowl on Sunday and in the second game I beat mom AND DAD and boy am I a poor winner...I rubbed it in their faces all day...
I went on a date yesterday with my friend Courtney. I guess mom doesn't trust her because she came along to chaperon the whole thing. You can't really blame her though, I mean she is a Humeston afterall!! Anyway, we had lots of fun painting pottery. I painted two things (which I'll show you when they are ready) and I'm not sure what vodka is but apparently Courtney painted a special cup to hold it.
Mommy got daddy and I tickets to see WWE live and we went on Saturday night and IT, WAS, AWESOME!!! I got to see a bunch of my favorite wrestlers and even give them high fives!! We were sitting right by the ring so we could see and hear everything. They also honored Ron Simmons who was a really great football player at FSU and a WWE champion. We got to see them fight for the United States Championship, the Tag Team Championship, and the WWE Championship when John Cena fought Ryback in a table match! It was an amazing night!!
Now you might be asking if I was really that into it, well check it out and see for yourself:

Daddy had another awesome surprise for me on Saturday. He woke me up really early before the sun was even up and told me to get dressed. I got dressed and he took me to work with him for the day. It was really cool. I got to ride in a truck, a tractor, count plants with a really cool counter thingy, we found turtles and fish in the ponds and even mapped out some strategerie on the "big board". Then we got to go pick up lunch and bring it back to the office and eat together in the conference room. It was such a cool day and now I understand what daddy does all day.
This is me riding "shotgun" in the truck
me counting the plants, checking dads work
I took it all very seriously

"out of my way!"
Then I got home and realized why dad is always complaining about how tired he is!
