Historical Sunday!

I woke up this morning at 6 o'clock, rip roaring and ready to go. My gentle urging that it was time to wake up didn't seem to be working, so I let out a mighty scream. A few seconds later daddy came in my room (do I have them wrapped around my pinkie or what?) and he took me for a walk. We walked around our neighborhood twice (that's over 3 miles....which apparently is far). It was still dark outside and a little eerie it was so quiet. Anyway, I fell asleep on the second lap and daddy brought me home (I'm sure expecting to put me to bed and get some sleep himself) but I was having none of that. After all, it's the weekend and I don't believe in all of that "day of rest" crap. So anyway, we played a little longer and them mommy wakes up (Yeah mommy!!).

We ate some breakfast and then went to say goodbye to Uncle RJ who is going home today. After that it is off to the mall to see if Carter's got in any new clothes that I don't own. We get all the way to the mall and I am ready to ride around in my buggy in style when.........daddy realizes he never put the stroller back in the car after the WALK!!! Oh man, what are we going to do? We get back in the car to drive home when dad says "no way, we have a coupon....we're going in!" So he carries me into the mall. No, big deal, I'm just a little guy. Daddy must have forgot how big the sawgrass mills mall is (once the largest mall in America) because by the time we walked through it, went shopping and got back to the car, he was whooped! But daddy is so cheap that in the long run the joy of saving 20% outweighed not being able to use his arms the rest of the day.

So we get home and I take a nap. After that we decide to give the swings at the park another try. Guess what? I LOVED THEM. I was laughing giggling like crazy....and you know why you are not looking at pictures and video of me laughing and giggling? Because daddy forgot the Cameras!. What a historic Sunday, daddy without a camera, I never thought I would see the day!!

After the park we went to the pool....and guess what? Still no pictures (sorry dad, had to rub it in a little).

I was beat after all that playing and swimming, so it was dinner, bath and bed for me (after a day of forgetting at least he remembered to feed me!).

Update for last week!

Man, the days just seem to keep flying by and I never seem to find time to blog anymore. Last week was a pretty standard week. I have a pretty set schedule now of when I take my naps and eat and stuff. We didn't do anything real new or adventurous this week. My Uncle RJ did come to visit and as a matter of fact he and G-ma Shirls are coming over for dinner tonight.

Here is a picture of me with uncle RJ!

Today, Saturday, was a really busy day. I got up with mom at 6:30 and went with her to Publix. When we got back we put up our Halloween decorations. I was the director (meaning I sat back in my chair and let them do all of the work...hey, what do you want from me, you don't see Spielberg doing any heavy lifting do you?).
Here are some pictures of our decorations!!

Signs lining the walkway

Giant spider crawling in it's "light web"
This is me doing some more directing!
This is me keeping my eye on things
Scary Skull sign
Black cat, a Halloween Classic
I see you!

Skulls lining the walkway

Grim reaper guarding the door....he gives me the creeps!

 Ghosts hanging from the roof!

Good thing my diaper was clean because I shit my pants because the house was so scary!!!

After decorating we went to go and visit my friend Jax at his house.  It was my first time finally getting to meet him face to face.  He is a cool dude.  I gave him the "what's up" and then we all played and had lunch.  Jax slept most of the time, but you know how babies are!  I remember those good ole' days!

We came home and prepared dinner for tonight.  Everyone came over and we had dinner and played some more.  Then G-ma Shirl fed me!

After that it was bath and bed!!
Good night...I hope no one has any nightmares from our scary decorations!

Can't believe it's been a week!

Sorry it's been almost a week since I posted.  Things have been pretty hectic around here, plus I have been working on my first DVD (Dylan Video Disc) which is now complete.  Let's see, what's new?  The Dr. said that I was a little under weight so mom and dad have been stuffing me like a Thanksgiving turkey and then complain when I fill my diaper twice a day....what did they THINK was going to happen?  Anyway, this new kick to make sure I eat has led me to sample tons of new food, most of which I like.  I have tried prunes, carrots, apples, pears, green beans, oatmeal, bananas (which ironically I don't care for).  I graduated to stage 2 foods so they aren't as runny and messy so I am able to get more of it in my mouth and less of it on my shirt (maybe they aren't actually feeding me more, maybe I am just EATING more and WEARING less...interesting.)

Dad has been bummin' around the house because he had to go to the eye Dr and she said that he needs glasses because he has "a-stick-in-em"....which just goes to show how brave and strong my dad is because he didn't complain about having a stick in his eye once!!  The glasses will come next week and he was cranky because he said he is getting old now (well duh, aren't all parents old?).  Mommy said I have to just smile and tell him he looks great now matter what and absolutely NO HARRY POTTER references under any circumstances!!

This weekend we watched the FSU VS. MIAMI game and g-ma shirl/g-pa tan man's house.  It was pretty hectic.  I kept bursting in to tears because all of the sudden mom and dad would start screaming and jumping around and then smacking my hand asking to "give them five" which was confusing because I don't have any money.  I didn't see what the big deal was.  22 men fighting over one ball.  Why don't they just give them each a ball and everyone is happy?  Plus, mom and dad taught me that if I have something and someone else wants it I am suppose to share....but according to them every time those "criminals from UM" got their hands on the ball they kept yelling to "take it away"(hypocrites).  Anyway, I think we won the game because daddy wasn't in a bad mood after it was over, so that is pretty cool.

Other than that I have been counting down the days until they take me back to Disney world (which lucky for them I can't count) so I just sit and wait.

Have a great night everyone and I promise not to wait so long to write again next time.

OH WAIT, I almost forgot.  I HAVE TEETH!!!  They started to poke through when we went to Disney (probably because I was so excited) but now they are really pushing through.  I was expecting them to be pretty bad, but it hasn't been all that bad.  As long as they keep shoving cold stuff for me to chew on in my mouth, I think we'll be just fine.

night night.

Just another Manic Monday

Today was Monday and when I woke up this morning I thought Daddy would be heading off to work...but to my surprise he had the day off again today.  I was soooo excited, one of my teeth appeared...yes folks that is correct I have gotten my official first tooth.

Mommy, Daddy and I played this morning and then we went to Target to check out the Halloween supplies... Mommy said something about sending daddy up a ladder to put up lights...he did not seem amused.

After target I took another really long nap...man growing teeth is really hard work.  After I woke up, I was in the car AGAIN...man these peeps never sit still.  Next thing I knew I was in the Pediatrician's office.  I love Dr. Cotler, however the nurses are not so nice...they stuck me four times...Man when i can stand up...they are in for it.

Those shots really took it out of me...I took a bath, played a little chugged a bottle and then it was off to bed by 8pm.

See you guys tomorrow!

My first trip to Disney world!

Finally after months and months and several reschedules I got to go to Disney World for the first time!  I had soo much fun and I can't wait to tell you all about my trip.

We left Friday night at about 5:30 pm.  The last thing I remember is falling asleep at Grandma's house and then all of the sudden I am halfway to Orlando in a car seat.  I wasn't sure that I like it so much (plus I made my diaper "not so fresh") so I decided to let mom and dad know that I was awake.  I cried and they pulled over at a rest stop.  They changed my diaper right there on the front seat because the bathroom was dee-scuz-ting.

I decided that Daddy was driving to slow so I was going to give it a try!

I got tired driving pretty quickly so I turned it back over to dad.  Mom got in the back seat and rode the rest of the way with me.

When we got to the hotel, mommy went to check us in and daddy took me to find some diaper rash gel (because he forgot it at home and didn't want to tell mommy...so if you see her, keep it a secret).  Before mommy could even finish checking us in, dad spent $100 on toys for me (I hope he didn't dip into my inheritance).  Anyway, he got me this cool hat:

it has a tail!

This cute bear that has a bib that says "my first Disney Bear"

(he explained to mommy "how could I NOT buy it?"  Plus I got a stuffed Tigger, and some sunglasses! All of that was great, but you know what?  To this day, he never did get me my butt rash medicine!

Our Hotel was way cool.  It had a sports theme.  We were in the Tennis building.

We hit the sack pretty early because we were all exhausted from packing up the car (I mostly supervised and made sure they didn't forget any of my essentials, all and all they brought the following):
  1. Pack and Play
  2. Jumperoo
  3. Door Swing
  4. play mat
  5. Spider Man couch
  6. Mini Piano
  7. Drums
  8. toybox literally full of every toy I ever owned
  9. My stroller
  10. Baby bjorn pouch
When it was all said and done they did a great job because I played with almost everything.

I woke them up bright and early the next morning at 6 am because I was so excited to get to the park.  I was bummed when I found out the park didn't open until 9.  Stubbornly I went with them to eat some breakfast and THEN we headed to the Magic Kingdom.  We got on the bus, and that was an experience.  I've never been on a bus before.

After what seemed like and eternity we made it to the magic kingdom.  WOW, what a place!  There were people everywhere, and a castle and horses and so much it was almost overwhelming.

So I didn't the most logical thing I could think of:

When I woke up it was time for rides.  Mom and dad had a long discussion over what my very first ride, on my very first trip to Disney world should be.  They settled on a classic!

I'd never been on a boat before.....wow, a bus and a boat in one day....lots of firsts on this trip!  I LOVED IT!  I laughed and giggled most of the way (man, does that song get stuck in your head or what?)

After It's a small world we headed for Winnie the Pooh and Friends.

That ride was really fun too.  After all of this fun I was exhausted.  We got back on the bus and headed back to the hotel where Grandma met us.  We all took naps and then I spent the rest of the afternoon with grandma while mom and dad relaxed for a bit.

I got a little fussy because I missed mom and dad.  Daddy came by to put me to bed but then I woke up at 3 o'clock and he wasn't there, I freaked out again.  Grandma called daddy to come and get me.  I stayed up until 5 am then fell asleep.  I woke up at 6:45 to the grunts and groans of mom and dad.  Then packed everything up and we hopped in the car.  I fell asleep in the car and slept for about an hour.  Daddy pulled the car over so mom could ride in the back with me again.  She asked me if I had fun on the trip and I told her "YES!"  I had so much fun, I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face!

Here is a slideshow of my whole trip!!!

Montage!

Sorry that it's been a couple of days since I last posted but I have been hard at work.  Now that I am six months old I took the time to look back over my life and reflect.  I've had lots of great times and met lots of people who love me.  To commemorate my first years on this earth I have put together the following.  I hope you enjoy!! (works best with volume)

There won't be any posts for a few days because I am going to Orlando to visit my Grandma.  When I get back I should have lots to tell and tons of pictures!!!

MY 6TH MONTH BIRTHDAY!!!!

Today is the 23rd which makes it my 6 month birthday.  I can't believe how old I'm getting.  I have to learn to take it easy.  I keep telling myself "your not 3 months anymore you have to take care of yourself".  Anyway, the day was like most others.  I woke up bright and early and spent time with mom and dad before they went to work.  I keep getting up extra early to make sure they make it to work in time but they don't seem very grateful.

After they left I had my usual Tuesday morning with Miss Ashley and afternoon with G-ma.  Daddy came and picked me up and we came home.  I punk'd him today by pretending like I was going to sleep and then just as he got comfy on the couch I screamed "gotcha punk"!  He didn't seem to find it very funny.

Mommy came home and put me in my stroller for our walk:

We walked all around our block and I stayed up the whole time.  When we got home I sat at the table and played with kitty.
I pulled on her tail but she didn't find it very funny (man, no one gets my humor!)

After that I auditioned for a remake of the exorcist....I think I nailed it.
I got cleaned up in the bath and then went to sleep!

Guess who got new toys?!

Yesterday was Friday and I had an AWESOME day.  I went and played with my friend Parker and we went to a water park!  It was so much fun, but mommy forgot the camera so I can't show you!  Parker gave me another toy that he has outgrown.  Its a really neat musical toy.  When Daddy came home we played with it together.

You may have noticed the really cool chair I am sitting in.  It's my new spider man couch and it's all for me!

It folds out into a bed too!

I love it!!!

Saturday morning I woke up at 7 and played with mom and dad some more.  We went for a really long walk this morning and then over to grandma and grandpa's.  I took a nap over there and then I came home.  I wanted to go swimming but the pool was too cold so I played in the tub instead.

It was lots of fun.

We went for another walk and then I took a nap.  Since it's game day, I had to get in the spirit.  Go Noles!

After bath time we played, watched TV and then I ate and went to bed!!

Here is video of my Saturday!

Thursday September 18th

What a long day today was...that must be because I woke up at 4:30 am and wouldn't go back to sleep.  Mommy got up with me and we hung out for most of the night.  Then she put me into bed next to my big snoring dad.....how do they expect me to sleep with that guy making noises like a freight train driving through a saw mill.

Anyway, mom and dad finally went off to work and I hung out with Miss Ashley.  Today is the last day I am going to see her for a while because she doesn't come back until Tuesday.  The next time I see her she will have a new nephew!!  Man, it seems like babies are being born all the time around this place.

The front door opened it was grandpa tan man!  I forgot it was Thursday so he was here.  We went back to his crib and we hung out for the afternoon.  Daddy came to pick me up and we went back to publix.  We bought stuff to cook Fajita's.

We went home and played in my room for a while until mommy came home.

Then we went for a walk and I brought my new buddy along.

It's hard work going around our whole block so I needed to stay hydrated.

While mom was finishing getting my dinner ready, dad and I played at the table.  Man he cracks me up!!

When I got back I ate dinner...look how much better I do now!!

After that it was off to the bath and to bed. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Daddy came home early!!

Miss Ashley came over to play today.  We played and played until I fell asleep.  When I woke up she changed me and guess what happened?  Daddy came home!  What a great surprise!  It was so early I couldn't believe it.

Dad and I hung out for a bit and then I had a suggestion.  I said "Dad, remember how much fun it was making mom breakfast in bed the other morning?"  To which he replied "Yeah, fun for you, I had to do all the work while you played in your crib."  I said "Let's make her dinner tonight and I promise I will help!"  He seemed skeptical but off to Publix we went.  We went up and down the aisle's and picked up everything we needed.  We paid for our stuff and home we went.
Then we started making dinner:
I don't really think that is a fair interpretation of how things went down.  It's the media slanting things again.  You know how they are....damn paparazzi.  Anyway, what is important is that we finished making the food to surprise mommy.
She called and said she was on her way home so daddy fired up the grill and.....
no, just kidding.  He cooked up our special "Tropical Sliders" mini hamburgers and we all ate together (although together is kind of a relative term because I just got to stare and drool).  After they had their delicious hamburgers, I ate some organic vegetables (I'm pretty sure I got the short end of that stick).  Then it was off to the tub and to bed!

Mobile Madness

I woke up this morning around 6 and daddy got up with me. We got dressed very quietly so that we didn't wake up mom. We decided that we were going to make her breakfast in bed (ok, maybe "make" is the wrong word.....serve her breakfast in bed). Daddy and I went out and got breakfast and then came home. I watched my new Thomas the train video while daddy prepped breakfast. I got a little fussy so he put me in my crib to look at my mobile. After a few minutes I was done and wanted to get out. Daddy wasn't listening so I decided to show him I mean business. I let him see how tough I was in a little video I like to call "Mobile Madness":

Daddy finally got the message so he took me, breakfast, and a tray into mommy's room so we could wake her up. She was so surprised and happy to see us! We all ate breakfast in bed and played for a while. After that we went for a walk before it got too hot outside. I made it about 3 houses from our front door before I feel asleep.

When we got back to the house they dressed me up in a cute outfit for when grandma came over. She took so long that I fell back asleep. I slept for 4 hours...my personal best. It was long enough to make daddy proud. I was asleep so long that grandma had to go back to Orlando so she could make it home before it got dark:

We went to the mall after I woke up and daddy bought a new computer.  He said we got it so that I can blog better!!

We left the mall and went for a walk and then it was dinner, bath and bedtime!!  Good night my peeps!

Bonus Video:

People are always asking if I am the one who is really posting my blog. I believe the below video titled "Putting the Rumors to Rest" settles the debate once and for all!

My first trip to Juvi!

It's Saturday so I get to hang out with Mom and Dad. We woke up bright and early this morning and headed over to Gma's house for breakfast. I had my usual, milk straight up, shaken and the rest of them had eggs and stuff. After breakfast we went to a park so I could ride the swings for the first time.

I was really scared and wasn't having fun:

Then daddy came and swung with me and it was better.

After the park we came home and guess who was there? My other Grandma!!

We played:

She fed me:

and we took a walk!

During out walk we were looking at houses that were up for sale and a neighbor came out and yelled at us. He said we were trespassing. Oh boy, my first trip to Juvi!!

She even brought me my own Seminoles cup to drink from during game days!

I hung out with her and Jeff for a while and then Aunt Donna and Uncle John came over for dinner. Everyone played with me and passed me around. It was a lot of fun but also exhausting. Grandma and Donna bathed me and then we played some more. I was so whuped by the time everyone left that I went straight to bed! I hope Sunday is as much fun as Saturday was.
