Happy New Year!!!

Hello my peeps.  I've been so busy with the new year that I haven't had time to sit down and write.  So Happy New Year.  I can't believe it's 2009 already....seems just like yesterday I was negative 3 months old and it was 2007.  Time sure does fly!  Anyway, I wanted to catch you up on what is going on and I have an exciting surprise at the end!!

We all went to visit Miss Ashley at Fridays and have dinner....Grandma and Grandpa came too!

Taking a second to re-hydrate!

I went to the Dr's today for my 9 month check up and why am I all tuckered out you ask?  Read below and find out!

First we waited forever so I decided to love on mom

Then we waiting more so I decided to love on the wall

then to shut dad up I posed for a picture

Had some apple juice

played with some toys...and then the un-fun stuff began.

first they took my temperature....which wasn't that bad

then they measured my melon and I did not like that

but the worst part was the shot they gave me (hey dad, how about you put down the camera and get me the heck out of here?!!!)

After all that the Dr. came in.  He asked mom and dad a bunch of questions about me.  They told the him that I have 7 teeth that I can say a couple of words and that I can walk.  The Dr. said "you mean he can scoot?"  and they said "no, he can walk".  The Dr. said, "you mean he can hold onto something like a table and sidestep?"  Mom and dad said, "No, he can walk, all by himself."  The Dr. said ok, but we could all tell he didn't believe us.  So mommy put me down and I walked from her all the way over to the Dr.  He was shocked!!  He said I shouldn't be doing that for another 4 or 5 months.  So after showing up an MD, I was of course exhausted, hence the nap.

Now for the surprise.  The moment we have all been waiting for.........Dylan Walks all by himself!!!

After getting some complaints about my blog crashing some people's computer I made some changes to it that hopefully will stop it from happening. First I took the slide show down because it took too long to load, secondly I limited the number of posts that appear at a time from 35 to 5, hopefully speeding up loading time. Lastly I took out a lot of the other extra "bells and whistles" so it's all about the content now!! Anyway, post me some comments and let me know if any of this helps....and if it didn't then you should of asked Santa for a new computer because your current one is busted!!!

Ok...now on to the good stuff. After Christmas Aunt Addison and Uncle Squirrel nuts came down to visit and we had a blast. They even watched me one day all by themselves (although their cell phones were blowing up like downtown Baghdad with calls from dad in a panic). They did great and I am really glad I got to spend time with them. I wish they lived closer!

I watched the Seminoles play in their bowl game...a thumping of the Wisconsin Badgers!

Aunt Addison came to visit!

Christmas 2008

Well today was my very first Christmas and oh what a day it was.  I must have been a VERY good boy because Santa was really really really nice to me.  I got lots of pictures to show you how much fun I had.

This was the outfit I wore all day...it's a mini Santa suit!

I got some toys that were even personalized with my name on them!

Ok, I woke up first thing and had a bottle to get up my energy.

Then I looked around at ALL of the presents I got.  There wasn't any room on the floor so I had to sit on some of them.

I decided this one is better to sit on because it's on wheels and can move.

This is the very first Christmas present I ever opened!

These presents are hard to open, but I was able to untie the bow!

and I just thought it was hysterical!!

I got a FSU hat......Dad is right, garnet and gold does go with everything!

and it turns out that daddy already has the exact same hat!!

After we finished opening presents at our house we went to Grandma and Grandpa's.  Uncle RJ met me outside.

  I want to say thanks to Santa for keeping me off the naughty list this year.  Also thanks to grandma for all my toys over at her house and to grandpa and uncle RJ for making the flight over here to spend my first Christmas with me.

Lastly a special thanks for Mom and Dad for making this the best Christmas I have ever had.  Don't know how they are going to top it next year!!
